Canteen

The Canteen is our small store.

Our Canteen is located next to the Office at the entrance to the camp. Canteen hours are usually the same as the office hours, although we make an effort during the summer season to have the canteen open later. Your group may pre-arrange to have the Canteen open at particular evening hours (most often requested time is 8:30 pm for about 15 to 20 minutes). Ask at the office.

The Canteen is open year round, and we make great efforts to well stock in the summer months with soda, 'power drinks', candy and t-shirts as well as some medicines, things you might have left at home (toothbrush, etc.), water bottles, some toys, some climbing equipment--Well, you really need to check it out. One never knows what might be available!

We may not have everything you need to buy at our Canteen. If that happens, grocery stores can be found at Eminence, Winona, Birch Tree, and Mountain View. Dollar General stores are in Winona and Mountain View. The closest Wal-Mart is in Mountain View.
